Boarding for your dog
Mill Pond is a wonderful boarding facility to leave your pet when you are away. Each pet is given special attention in the kennel and also outdoors. Whether they like playing ball in the gravel play yards, or running with other dogs in our large enclosed grassy fields, your pet will receive the TLC they deserve...as if they were at home.

Our kennel facility is equipped with its own washer and dryer, kitchen and refrigerator. Each morning your pet is allowed outside to play while their rooms are cleaned and bedding is changed. Later, they are brought in for a short period of rest before breakfast. After breakfast, we provide a second period of rest for good digestion. Then, it's outside for play, exercise and fresh air so that your pet receives deserved stimulation with socialization and activity. By the early evening hours, all the dogs are fully excercised and ready for a good night's sleep.

(Please note that periods of play and rest will depend on age, health and your pet's desire.)

Boarding for your cat
Mill Pond offers your feline friends a cozy cattery. Our versatile cattery affords a comfortable stay within an environment of constant human company throughout the day.

Cattery cages and litter pans are refreshed at a minimum of twice a day. Feeding is provided according to your instructions. Feline boarding includes a litter pan, food, water, bedding, and cat toys.

Please refer to the "Camp Mill Pond" link to learn more about our day-to-day mission in creating an environment your pet will love.

Doggie Daycare
Doggie daycare is open 6 days per week (Monday thru Saturday) from 8am until 6pm. Dog behaviorists encourage regular socialization and daily exercise for your dog's overall quality of life and improved behavior. If you don't have the time to provide the exercise and socialization that your dog needs, Mill Pond Daycare is for your pet and for you.

Dogs attending doggie daycare must be current on their DHLPP boosters and their Rabies vaccines. The current rate is $18.00 per day. Half days (under 5 hrs.) are also available at $10.00 per day.

A compassionate and skilled technician supervises our camp. Please keep in mind, though, that just like human camp, your pet may come home with an occassional scrape especially if they are a hearty and rough playmate.

Puppies are put in separate play groups in a puppy play yard and brought in for lunch and a nap during the mid-day.

Dog Training
We offer several different levels of obedience training from Puppy Kindergarten to Intermediate Level. We teach you how to understand your dog's personality while utilizing both positive reward and correction. Our goal is to help you and your pet understand what is expected of your pet to become a well balanced family member within your household.

We offer the following classes:

  • Puppy Kindergarten
  • Beginner Obedience
  • Intermediate I
  • Intermediate II
