Current Openings:
We are looking to add a Certified Veterinary Technician to our medical team. Experience is preferred but we will entertain new or pending graduates. A flexible work schedule is desired with the ability to work with clients and patients in both office visits and surgical procedures. We practice state of the art medicine in a comfortable, collaborative environment.
CVT Duties include:
· Communication with team members and clients
· Able to obtain history and vital signs of patients in the exam rooms
· Knowledge and demonstration of proper restraint and handling techniques
· Administer medications and perform treatments as directed by veterinarians
· Able to set up and monitor anesthesia for surgery patients
· Perform blood draws and place IV catheters
· Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
· Experience with surgery, doctor appointments, and technician appointments
· Weekend rotations (Saturday during office hours & Sunday split shit for hospital patients)
We are currently hiring for our outside team as a part-time or seasonal full-time employee. This includes working with us in the kennel and daycare areas. We are looking for individuals that enjoy fast-paced work and that are very detail oriented. Prior experience is not required, but preferred. The most important aspect of a new hire is a positive attitude and an enjoyment for hard work.
Kennel/Daycare Duties include:
· Communication with team members and clients
· Ability to clean and sanitize kennel runs & play yards
· Supervising Daycare and/or kennel play groups
· Bathing Dogs
· Dishes
· Feeding and medicating boarding dogs
· Reading canine body language (will be taught with on-the-job training)
· Weekend shift rotations a must
· Keeping on a timely schedule
